Weird Tales of Cultists
Now if you know anything about Florida you know there are many strange tales of weirdness in this great state. I moved here a few months ago, as some of you know, and hear me talk about at some of performances. Yet, even before I moved here to Central Florida, I heard the strange tales like the ones here.
Yet, lately I've been hearing rumors of pale people doing strange things at a warehouse. The rumor goes that some people caught them doing some kind of ritual that involved very skinny people jumping up and dancing around stiffly. Some black cloaked figures were slowing waving their hands around, and to this hand waving, danced the skinny people. Apparently some of the skinny people started giving them chase when they snapped this photo:
Who knows what this is about. Just "Weird Florida" all over again.

Don't Mess With
My latest, inspired from a recent event. You may say that I am feeling my oats...
Don't Mess With
2X I'm the one you don't want to mess with You better go back through the door2X I'm the one you don't want to mess with I'll show you pain and much more.2X You'll be laying on the ground, You'll get up never more.2X If you want we can dance, But this is your last chance2X I'm the one you don't want to mess with You better go back through the door2X I'm the one you don't want to mess with I'll show you pain and much more.

For The Past Month - Politics, Music, Terror
What I've been up to for the past month...
While news of political intrigue blazes across the United States, and a fervor of passion is inflamed amongst the Establishment versus the Populist movements in all political parties, I could not help but get caught up in the fervor.
A visit to a political event to observe the ebb and flow of the politically impassioned, and to perform my simple, calming, peaceful piece: United We Stand. It was a great and wonderful thing. More on that below. Hear the song here:
At the political rally, some came by and chatted, others nodded in my direction, others were annoyed. One man with a red hat that looked very much like a video game character of a plumber many of you may know very well. He was interested in my music. I think he said he was born in Syria, or was it Afghanistan?
What went down at Oviedo Firehouse 23 was horrendous.
See a link to it in the Orlando Tribune here:

I feel very sorry for those people. I would not be surprised if more and more people quit pandering to the "thoughts and prayers" crowd and started arming up.
Such is life!

Elderado - Edgar Allan Poe
It's with excitement that I reveal a new creative direction of putting Edgar Allan Poe's creative works to music.
A lesser known poem, I've chosen, as it goes quite well with a tune I had already composed. The concept of the tune as being some sort of "Adventure Song" goes quite well with the theme. I must admit, that in analyzing the rhythm of the poem and the meaning of the words, it's left an indelible mark in my soul.
I believe if you study poetry with greater detail, as happens when attempting to write music for it, you appreciate and understand the authors intent, just a bit more.
Eldorado
BY EDGAR ALLAN POE
Gaily bedight,
A gallant knight,
In sunshine and in shadow,
Had journeyed long,
Singing a song,
In search of Eldorado.
But he grew old—
This knight so bold—
And o’er his heart a shadow—
Fell as he found
No spot of ground
That looked like Eldorado.
And, as his strength
Failed him at length,
He met a pilgrim shadow—
‘Shadow,’ said he,
‘Where can it be—
This land of Eldorado?’
‘Over the Mountains
Of the Moon,
Down the Valley of the Shadow,
Ride, boldly ride,’
The shade replied,—
‘If you seek for Eldorado!’

I Need A Napkin!
My latest work of art, inspired by watching a patron at Four Rivers Barbecue passionately declare the need to wipe his face from all of the barbecue sauce he got there after passionately eating this good barbecue. --- More art to come...

Pachelbel's Friend - Rainbows and Sunshine
Pachelbel was quite famous in his day. A friendly little modern beat on my djembe and a little improv melody with my Seagull Merlin and everything is sunshine and rainbows!
